Lanfine Substation
|

The proposed new Lanfine substation (to be called 959S) will be located on SW-19-28-04-W4M, approximately 11 kilometres northwest of the Town of Oyen. The substation will be surrounded by a fence with approximate dimensions of 160 metres by 330 metres. The substation will consist of six 240 kilovolt (kV) circuit breakers, seven 144 kV circuit breakers, one 240 kV static VAR compensator (SVC), two 144 kV capacitor banks, one 240/144kV transformer and related support, protection and telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.
