We have identified several preliminary routes for the 240 kV transmission line and the associated substation site.

We have selected site and route options that:

• Avoid home and minimize impacts on residences
• Follow property boundaries wherever possible to provide access and to avoid impacts to agriculture
• Minimize impacts on built-up areas, highways, agriculture, oil and gas operations and communication facilities
• Minimize impacts to environmentally sensitive areas such as watercourses, wet or steep areas, wildlife habitat and other sensitive areas such as designated historical sites

Other options for transmission line routes and/or substation sites may be considered if identified through our consultation process.

The preferred transmission line route and substation sites will be identified after we have considered feedback and concerns.

Typical Substation
