Overview
The Nevis to Stettler Transmission Project is part of the larger Hanna Region Transmission Development.
The AUC approved the Nevis - Stteler Transmission Project on December 20, 2011. Schedules for the construction of about 35 kilometres of new transmission line from the existing Nevis substation extending east to the existing Stettler substation and the expansion of the Nevis and Stettler substations are currently being developed.
Public Involvement
In addition to distributing project information, ATCO Electric hosted open houses in Spring of 2010. These sessions allowed an opportunity to learn more and share your concerns with us.
ATCO Electric filed the Facilities Application and received approval for the construction and operation of this project on December 20, 2011.
